Man Arrested in Sevenoaks for Assault and Possession of Knife

In the morning of Friday 9 January 2026, officers responded to reports of an assault on High Street, Sevenoaks. 

Police located a male, matching the description given by the victim, near Sevenoaks train station. During the arrest for assault, a search revealed a knife inside the suspect’s bag. He was further arrested for possession of a bladed article and taken into custody. The male has since been remanded to court and issued an exclusion from the town centre through the Business Crime Reduction Partnership.
